Directions to BBHS

Take Breaux Bridge Exit (Exit 109) off of I-10.  Turn south onto Rees St. 
Turn Left onto Latiolais Drive (light at Wal-Mart).  Continue straight at the stop sign at the intersection with Grand Point Hwy.  Road becomes Doyle Melancon Rd.  Drive 2.5 miles.  BBHS will be on your left.

2013-2014  BBHS FBLA Chapter Attends District Leadership Conference 


Lane L was honored for Academic All-State at the 2013 State Farm Prep Classic in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Saturday, December 14, 2013.  He is pictured with representatives from Exxon Mobile and the LHSAA. 


The Exxon Mobil Educational Alliance program makes contributions to schools who have been nominated by a local Exxon Mobil gas station. The funds from the grant are to be used exclusively in the math and science departments. Local Exxon Mobil Representative Linda Dore from the Pennywise store on 2086 Rees Street presented a $500.00 grant to Breaux Bridge High School Principal Louis Blanchard. 


Midsouth Bank donated 5 laptops and 10 computers to Breaux Bridge High School.  On hand for the presentation were several seniors, Advanced Math teacher Deborah Broussard, and principal Louis Blanchard. 


Congratulations to Mr. Kevin Bonhomme, Kylar W, and Lane L for being recognized as the Cox 4 Teacher and Students of the Week respectively for the week of November 8th. 


BBHS Volleyball player Taylor A. signed with Ole Miss, The University of Mississippi, on Wednesday, November 13 to play volleyball.  Pictured with Taylor are her parents; coaches, Ms. Jenni Fortenberry and Ms. Laurie Simon; and principal, Mr. Louis Blanchard.


Artwork from two Visual arts/Talented  (Gifted Art) students was selected to compete in this year's Louisiana High School Athletic Association Poster Contest for the state football championships. These students utilized advanced artistic techniques for Elements & Principles of Design to complete their designs.

The 2012-2013 BBHS Prowler Dance Team and Cheerleaders joined together this year to raise money for the Susan G. Komen foundation. Together they raised over $1000 and were named one of the top 10 fundraisers for the year and placed on the 2013 Race for the Cure’s Pink Honor Roll.



Breaux Bridge High School racked up at the Parish-wide Math Fair in January with six students garnering first place in eight categories. Joshua W captured first in Algebra I; Sydny B, Maison H, and Zane F took all of the prizes for Algebra II; and Justin B garnered first in Geometry. Renee B earned first place in Financial Math, and Torrie R received second in Math Essentials. In Advanced Math I, Olivia M and Lamant A earned first and third respectively, and Blake L and Katherine R obtained first and second place.
