School Choice Students from St. Martinville Jr. High are eligible for School Choice beginning with the 2008-2009 school year since it was identified in School Improvement I. Of the 578 students enrolled at St. Martinville Jr. High at the beginning of the 2008-2009 school year, thirty three (33) students (parents) selected to participate in School Choice. Of the 501 students eligible for School Choice at SMJH for the 2009-2010 school year since the school remains in School Improvement I, 64 students selected to participate in School Choice.The two schools that were selected to accept students opting for School Choice are Catahoula Elementary with a 2008-2009 growth school performance score of 106.2 and Parks Middle School with a 2008-2009 growth school performance score of 87.2.
