Parental involvement throughout the year is also encouraged on special theme days and field excursions. Annually, students are assessed using the Developmental Skills Checklist. Standardized test data has revealed that the four-year olds in the St. Martin Parish School System have consistently scored above the state average for the last four years. Lastly, the ultimate goal of the Early Childhood Program is to provide a quality Pre-K Program to four-year-olds in St. Martin Parish that will be an integral and valuable aspect toward learning for life.

These “Loozi-Doodle†artworks were drawn by students from five different schools across St. Martin Parish. These creative students are all in the Talent Visual Arts Program. Following our “Louisiana†theme this year, students created these amazing doodles starting with the outline of our state. The only requirement was to draw the doodle with black pen.
