2010 SMSH Academic Decathlon Win Awards St. Martinville Senior High School’s Academic Decathlon Team competed in the State Academic Decathlon competition at UNO on February 26th & 27th . The theme this year was everything about the French Revolution. Every decathlete won this year: Coach for the AD Team is Sherrie Jacobs. See News section for further details.

Message from Lottie Beebe, Director of Human Resources
As the Director of Human Resources, I envision improved efficiency in the Personnel Department for the 2010-2011 school year. Greater effort will be expended in the areas of recruitment, retention, and the support of new teachers. While emphasis is placed on hiring and retaining teachers, the goal of the Human Resources Department is to provide support and assistance to all personnel in an effort to bring about greater efficiency and competency through an experienced work force. Mrs. Brenda Courville, Personnel Supervisor, Mrs. Tina Fuselier, and Mrs. Ellen Taylor, clerical staff, are an asset to the department. Each possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience in clerical and general day-to-day operations. Other staff members include college students who work collaboratively with staff to ensure that filing and scanning are expeditiously addressed.
