The School Resource Officers are responsible for Cecilia Sr. High, Breaux Bridge Senior High, St. Martinville Senior High and JCEP. Through set guidelines, the School Resource Officers work with the school staff to maintain order at each of the schools. In addition, the resource officers are implementing a new tutoring program which will begin in February of 2005. They are also responsible for a new club called S.A.V.E., Students Against Violence Everywhere. This is a new program which will begin in the Spring of 2005. S.A.V.E. also promotes community service projects by its members. The Resource Officers are also club sponsors for the SADD clubs at each school and active in the Red Ribbon campaign each fall. |
